History

For over fifty years, the Rotaract Club has been a global organization with an assimilation of independent people, such as leaders, associates, and problem solvers who wish to assist the world. The Rotaract Club was founded by Paul Harris who visualized a better world where anyone in need can receive help from a caring organization. The organization was created on February 23rd, 1905, with fellow members who admire Paul Harris' vision of a better world. The Rotaract Club creates lifelong friendships and relationships with their local community. The founding members desired to help future generations of potential club members to become well-driven organizations who seeks a better tomorrow through heartfelt assistance and community service. The Rotary Club assisted the world through many of its crises, from feeding the hungry, aiding the sick and needy through times of diseases, and helping people from impossible situations. With the assistance from the Rotary Club through its humanitarian service, its members provide aid to their community as well as their kindness and generosity. Throughout several decades, the Rotaract Club has been active in six continents and founded several additional clubs both national and international. This compassionate organization has found its way to Middle Georgia State University to assist our communities to prosper for a better tomorrow. The Rotary Club has been active for over 115 years helping others with compassion and hope.
